چکیده

Methods, which use an indirect plasma treatment for the inactivation of microorganisms in foods, claim a vastly growing field research. This paper presents method that uses plasma-processed air (PPA) as sanitizer. In addition to sanitation concept decontamination produce value chain, presented offers possible application “in-process” surface sanitation. PPA provides antimicrobial-potent species, are predominantly reactive nitrogen species (RNS); this has outstanding groove penetration property. experimental approach, surfaces, made from materials, frequently used construction food-processing plants, were inoculated with different microorganisms. Listeria monocytogenes (ATCC 15313), Staphylococcus aureus 6538), Escherichia coli 10538), Salmonella enterica subsp. serovar Typhimurium 43971), and Enteritidis 13076) all appear foods possess risk cross-contamination plant or vice versa. The contaminated samples treated various times (1–5 min) antimicrobial potencies. Subsequently, microbial load on specimens was determined compared untreated samples. As result, reduction factors (RF) up several log10-steps obtained. Although bacterial strain showed influence RF, major seen by prolongation time increase potency PPA.

A Statistical Method for Sequential Images – Based Process Monitoring

Today, with the growth of technology, monitoring processes by the use of video and satellite sensors have been more expanded, due to their rich and valuable information. Recently, some researchers have used sequential images for image defect detection because a single image is not sufficient for process monitoring. In this paper, by adding the time dimension to the image-based process monitorin...

Surface Decontamination by Dielectric Barrier Discharge Plasma

Background: Dielectric barrier discharge (DBD), a source of non-thermal plasma, is used in surface decontamination. Objective: To study the effect of DBD plasma treatment, we evaluated the effect of plasma exposure time on inactivation of Bacillus subtilis. Results: Applying the DBD plasma to the culture of B. subtilis caused complete sterilization of the surface without any thermal effects. In...

Developing a Method for Identifying Emergencies in Process Industries

Introduction: One of the essential and critical elements for efficient and effective management of emergencies is anticipation and identification of possible types of emergencies. As such, a framework for anticipating and identifying emergencies was designed and tested in two process industries in the form of a case study. Material and Methods: At first, methods for identifying emergency prepa...

An Analytic Hierarchy Process Based Method to Process Mathematical Expressions

Mathematical expressions exist in all kinds of documents. The automatic location , recognition, analysis and understanding of mathematical expressions are important. Recognition of mathematical expressions has been an attractive problem for the pattern recognition community. When we meet the mathematical expressions we can’t recognize them like the way of ordinary text recognitions. We are in u...
